Hi there! We’re Sean & Tarsh, a dedicated husband and wife duo with 28 years combined expertise in the food industry.
At Bee’s Knees we’re all about bringing the delightful flavours of wood-fired pizzas straight to your event. Beyond Pizzas, we’ve crafted casual canapés and sumptuous grazing boards that are perfect for weddings, birthdays, grower meetings, and even those pop-up mini festivals.
We have spent many years catering some wonderful weddings, birthdays, engagements and all-round good get-togethers on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Together we take delight in crafting culinary delights for local gatherings, & skillfully bringing our clients’ visions to life.
And if you're in the mood to DIY, we've got our wood-fired pizza oven trailer and charcoal spit ready for hire. Let us be a part of your next special occasion and add that delicious touch!
“Bee’s Knees” was often heard in Tarsh’s late Nanny’s kitchen. A lady who loved cooking and the simple pleasures that came along with it. Her kitchen was a place the grandchildren would bake or a place the favourite meals came from for that family get together. Food was special but simple, flavoursome and of course full of love and it created such a beautiful ambience and sense of connection. In honour of Jenny’s Kitchen, Bee’s Knees Catering was born.
Our Offerings
We offer many ways to up the ante for your event.
We are self-sufficient so you can leave the hassle of catering to us, to enjoy the day with your guests OR if you’re feeling more adventurous hire out our oven and/or spit and run the show yourself!
We are based in McLaren Vale S.A and service the Fleurieu Peninsula with no travel costs. Other areas may incur a travel fee. We can cater for many dietaries but this needs to be confirmed prior.
